The Clinical Effects of PSDM (Morex^(®)) in the Treatment of Patients suffered from Memory Impairment

Abstract
|
|
|
To evaluate the clinical effects of PSDM (Morex®), authors applied Mini Mental State and Patient Record Chart on -the patients suffered from dementia and memory impairment (18 cases), and appraised change of overall cognitive function, safety and side-effects during 12 weeks of treatment with Morex®.
The .results were Swym-arized as follows: .
1. After 12 weeks of treatment with Morex®, the overall cognitive function was significantly different from that of baseline(p<0.05).
2. Anorexia, concentration, memory (registration) and language were the symptoms of marked significant therapeutic effects.
3. 12 weeks of treatment with Morex®, no toxicity or specific side effect was appeared. From these results, Morex® is evaluated as effective drug for the treatment of impaired cognitive function, and. can be applied safely and usefully on the Korean patients suffered from memory impairment.
